Hi,
I am having a bit of trouble keeping my wireless network up. I have a
draytek 2600 router that has been working fine for a year in another office
but now that I have placed it into this office the problems have started.
What I am posting here though is on one machine (XP) with a belkin USB
wireless adapter attached I am using Windows to connect to the router with a
WEP key. The icon (Bottom Right) has a red cross over it and it keeps poping
up and telling me that I am disconected from the network but there are
wireless networks available. If I ignore that I am online. Sometimes during
the day though I loose the connection to the router and the only way I know
this is because I am unable to get online or to print (Router with a print
server attached) That is another problem though and what I really want to
know here is how can I get the wireless network icon to show correctly?

I have tried using the Belkin Utility to connect but the connection is even
less stable that way and it doesn't make any difference to the icon. I have
tried changing the setting so that it doesn't show when there is no
connection but it is always in the bottom right with the red cross.

Any thoughts greatly recieved as I am on the verge of reinstalling windows.
cheers
