Ever since I have upgrade to windows vista business. 32bit. My wireless
networks will work fine sometims for 10hrs and somtimes it will only work for
about 10mins. The little icon in the right hand corner will say Limited
Connectivity, I have screen shots from when it happens. After this I can not
connect to any other networks or even find the network that I currently was
on. It acts like my card has been disabled. I have contacted Windows,
Gateway and my ISP *Verizon. They all have walked me through the same exact
steps and nothing ever works. The only way I can get internet back on is to
shutdown and restart and HOPE its going to last for more than 10mins. I have
updated all drivers so please dont tell me that, I have updated all router
configs, and I have changed all wirless channels and what not. Nothing has
worked. Its the craziest thing I have ever seen. When it happens I can
connect if I plug in the ethernet cord but It still denies that the wireless
network even exsist until reboot. My g/f has a windows xp laptop that never
has any of this trouble, my PS3 never messes up or drops signal, and before I
upgrade to vista the old xp never, never, never done this. not even once.
Someone please help, I so tired of microsofts BS.

I'm having a very similar problem, and from what I've been reading since
buying my new laptop with vista installed 3months ago- so is everyone else.

My old laptop with xp has a strong signal and never drops it.
My new one with vista drops the signal constantly. I'm lucky if I can two
minutes out of it, and then every now and then it will stay solid for an
hour, but it's rare. And when it drops my signal it will try to grab someone
elses unsecured one next. And it's only at home. When I'm at work where
there is a wireless hotspot it works like a dream.

I'ts incredibly frustrating because I'm using my old laptop for the internet
at home and the new one for working.

I've only had my wireless router for about 9months, but I'm wondering if
it's even compatible with Vista. I'm not keen on spending money on a new one
if that's not the problem though.
