I'm running two computers on Windows XP. My Dell computer gets wireless internet from a local ISP. I'm also running a wireless network between the computers using a DWL-700 Access Point on the Dell and DWL-810+ on the Compaq. These wireless devices communicate together and send internet capability to the compaq. Although the internet is shared, the files and printers will not share. I think my problem is that the dell is unable to go to my workgroup. It locks up like it can't find it and I have to use task manager to close down the window.

Do you have a firewall installed or are you running software like Norton
Internet Security? I've had clients with a similar problem caused by
firewall software.
