Wireless network booster cards

Dear all,

I'm looking for some way of boosting the signal that i get at my computer from my wireless router. What is your opinion on the benefits of "Power Booster" wireless network cards, such as the Sitecom Mimo-XR. Do the benfits it suggests really come through in practice or is this just more sales speak?
