Using Gateway wireless mouse and keyboard a new problem has come up. The
mouse and keyboard want me to be grounded for them to work properly. The
batteries are good. Any suggestions other than to wear a ground strap?

This sounds like an electrical environment issue or a hardware issue and
not a Windows or driver problem. It could be caused by a faulty system
ground, poor connection, defect in the mouse/keyboard/tranceiver, or
faulty electrical wiring in the building. It could also be caused by
interference from other wireless or radio devices in close proximity.
