Wireless connection reading the neighbors signals!!!

We had a Comcast wirelss connection installed. We keep
getting kicked off because we are reading the 6 neighbors
signals! Any suggestions?

First, enable encryption on your wireless network to keep your
neighbors from connecting to it.

To avoid connecting to your neighbors' networks:

1. Right click the wireless network connection.
2. Click "View available wireless networks".
3. Click Advanced.
4. For each network other than your own under "Preferred networks",
click the network and click Remove.
5. Click Advanced.
6. Un-check "Automatically connect to non-preferred networks".
