Hi all

I'd like some advice please. In my office there are wireless access points
and standard cat5 ethernet connections.

If a laptop picks up both connections which one would it go through?

Or, will it just use the network that started first?

Thanks in advance

Ken,

If you have a laptop running Windows XP, and it's configured for both wired and
wireless connections, and both are active, it will probably use the wired
connection. The wired connection will have a lower metric ("cost").
