So I am sharing a wireless network with my neighbors (apartment complex) and
we are splitting the bill. They set up the network and gave me the network
key so I could log in which worked fine for about 2 months. Then one day I
tried to login and it accepts the network key and shows I am connected but
will not recognize my IP address. Any help or point in the right direction to
solve this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

what is the IP address of the wireless router ( it could be something like
192.168.0.1)? Your computer's first three segments need to be the same
(192.168.0.xxx). your neighbor install a new device on his network? If so
it could have taken the address that you were using. Are you set up to
"Obtain an IP address automatically"? or "Use the Following address"?

Unsure of the wireless router's IP address because I am at work right now (I
can check later), but if I change my set up to "obtain an IP address
automatically" it should assign me a new one correct? Thanks for the response,
I appreciate it.
