Hi Carl,
We can modify the Windows Registry to Adjust the Internet Time Polling
Interval
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Internet Time feature is set by default to synchronize with the time
server
every 7 days, or 604,800 seconds. This interval can be changed by modifying
the
following registry value:
1. Start Registry Editor (Regedt32.exe).
2. Locate and click the SpecialPollInterval value in the following registry
key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\W32Time\TimeProviders\N
tpClient
NOTE: The above registry key is one path; it has been wrapped for
readability.
3. On the Edit menu, click Modify.
4. In the Value data box, enter the value you want in seconds, and then
click
OK.
5. Quit Registry Editor.
NOTE: Restart the computer for this change to take effect.
You have now done adjusted the Internet Time polling interval.
Please let me know if you have any questions. I look forward to hearing
from you.
Sincerely,
