I'm having trouble when installing a second hard drive in
my system. I took my old components from a HP6649f and put
them in a new case with basic parts. The problem comes
when i run winxp pro. My primary master is a western
digital and my primary slave is a maxtor (nothing on it).
The situation I would run into would allow me to boot up,
then the Winxp splash screen would appear and with no luck
I could not get into the system. I tried using the winxp
recovery console and I run into an error. It asks you for
the admin password and even though i write the correct
password it wont let me log in. This has become a very
frustrating issue, any help, ideas, suggestions, advice,
or solutions would be greatly appreciated.

First try shut-down,on starting tap the F8 key (windows start-up options),select,
safe mode, enter as ADM..For password press the enter key,but recovery might/not
help a whole lot,try:CHKDSK C: /R or FIXBOOT
But there's not alot of options, you can always type:HELP
for the menu.
