I have two computers with WinXP professional hooked up to
a DLink router. Computer 1 shows "Internet Gateway" in
network connections, while the Computer 2 doesn't
recognize a "gateway" although both computers connect to
the internet fine. Is there any way to get the gateway
to show up in the other computer's network connections
too? I've run the setup wizard multiple times on both
computers...
The reason I need this is that MSN Messenger uses UPnP to
open ports dynamically for voice chat. From what I
gather, it opens them using the "Internet Gateway"
connection (as I can see the open ports in the settings
of the gateway). Needless to say, MSN Messenger voice
chat only works for me on Computer 1, not Computer 2.
Thanks,
Hammad
