MYONNET PC Help

I wonder if anyone has experienced this problem or possibly it is a bug with
Winxp and .NET. At the user accounts logon screen, my user account icon
shows that I have 5 emails waiting, but when i log on to my user account and
check my inbox shows none. I am using Outlook 2003 & Outlook Express 6.

Any thoughts?

Hi,

You can use Tweak UI to clear the settings. Download Tweak ui and then
navigate to the setting Logon | unread mails and then uncheck this box.

My own theory is that Microsoft can't count.

Other similar Windows mysteries.

1. Windows Update v.4 can't calculate an accurate download time(possibly
fixed in v.5)

2. Outlook Express can't figure out accurately how many e-mails are in my
deleted items folder(maybe related to your problem)

3. When in Outlook Express, I can sometimes delete my Hotmail deleted items
and sometimes not

I am sure that there are others.

Sure, it's happens chronically. Most times it will disappear, but seem to
reoccur. I wonder if SP2 will help? I'll try that.

Anyone else have helpful thoughts?
