My search page keeps defaulting to some unknown search
engine. I'm trying to restore the MSN default but it
won't work. I've tried uninstalling all bogus programs,
clearing all cookies, temp files, and even resetting IE.
I found the search page default in the registry and
deleted it. Nothing changes. What can I do?

This is caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware,
parasite)

Download, install, *update* and run these two programs:
Ad-aware from http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/
Spybot from http://security.kolla.de/ (Remove items
listed in red.)
