WinXP hard drive in Win98 Machine

Recently my WinXP machine fried. I have taken the hard drive out of the winXP
machine and i want to put it in a machine running windows 98. The XP hard
drive isnt being picked up. I have been told that win 98 cant understand ntfs
and that i need to get a program. Can someone tell me what program i need or
another solution.
