winsock error

When i start my computer its says that windows sockets
failed to initialize and i can't connect to the internet.
I think I might have accidentaly deleted an important
file. Anyone know what I should do?
 
I asked this question in an online Microsoft chat and
someone named Mamood said this is going to be fixed in
SP2.
 
remove reinstall tcp/ip or the network adapter if it truly was a
dfeletion issue this should restore your winsock
