I have windows Xp and i think WinnT on my computer at home. How do I tell and
do I need both of them and how do I remoev winnt safely without disturbing
Windows xp?

Did you, or did someone else, do an upgrade in place from Windows 2000? That
would leave you with a c:\winnt folder.
What makes you think you have two operating systems installed...do you get
prompted for which one you want when you boot up?

What makes you believe you NT on your machine, are you being confused
with these entries:
C:\windows\$NTuninstallXXXXXX, if so, leave them be.
