found a file "winkrb.exe" using most of my system's
resources and CPU usage was anything that was left from
other programs running. Memory usage was about 5,000Kb and
the program was attempting network access

The file was found in the windows\system32 folder and was
about 90K in size. it also had a co-file in the
windows\prefetch folder.

anyone know what its for? or whats its part of.

thanks in advance

It's likely a VIRUS file.
