Hello

Every day, at least once, my PC will lose its connection to my home network.
I cannot access the web, nor can other PCs ping it. However, my x64 PC still
shows up as connected. I have updated my drivers for everything: video,
chipset, network, etc. I have two network cards on my motherboard, and it
happens with both. Has anyone heard of this issue, or one similar? Does
anyone know if maybe I am missing a patch? Windows Update shows nothing. I
have done virus scans, and spyware/adaware. I would like to avoid
formatting/re-installing, as I have a lot of software/files.

If anyone can offer assistance, it would be appreciated.

Thank you.

I forgot to mention that disabling, and re-enabling my network card in the
'network connections' folder will get it working again, bt only for a little
while.

A 64 bit system still using 32 bit hardware may be the issue here. But
it could be something just got out of twitch in the winsock...you
might try this fix and see if it helped any:
http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm

Warning: This would not hurt a 32 bit system but I have never had the
oportunity of using it on a 64 bit system and don't know what it will
do.
