Windowx Xp Startup Screen crashes

after installing sp1 i manually restarted the computer,
now when it gets to the screen thats loading windows xp,
the screen with the little bar before the boot screen, it
crashes

is there anyway to fix this? thanks in advance
 
Boot the machine into recovery console. Use the CD command to change to the
$NTServicePackUninstall$ directory. Change to the SPUNINST folder and run
the command: BATCH spuninst.bat
