WindowsXP Patch and Firewall

Hi!.....I am having a very difficult time trying to
figure out how to put the patch on and the
firewall....can you please make it more clear?....Thank

From what I've been told the XP firewall isn't compatible
with AOL and that it will not recognize it and
automatically over rides it.
