just wondered if anyone happens to know where i can find the windows
compatabuility screen so i can enable my pc to play games that run on 95.98
etc on XP

Right click on the .exe of the game, go to Properties and then
Compatibility.

Right-click on the shortcut in question (the one that starts the legacy
game/program), choose Properties, and then select the Compatibility Tab.
