Windows9X/ME and XP on the same network

I am tring to configure a network with a computer running 98, ME, and one
computer with XP Home.
the XP can see all the computers and have access to them; however, they
aren't able to see the computer running XP. What changes needs to be done to
any/all computers for the 9X/ME computers to see and access the computer
running XP.

More than likely the problem is that you have NETBEUI installed on the 9x/ME
machines and not on the XP machine as that is the default for all - eg, NOT
installed on XP by default and IS installed on the others by default.

So, either choose to install Netbeui on the XP machine or remove it from the
others. Personally, I would say go TCP/IP and remove netbeui but that's up
to you.
