When I go to a new web page, it always opens the window minimal. it always
used to open in maximixzed. How can I get it to do that agian? Thanks.

Close all IE windows but one. Drag the top and sides so it is as large as
possible, don't use the maximize button. Then close it by choosing File |
Close. It should open in this size the next time.
 
Right click on Windows Explorer shortcut from Start Menu or Quick Launch,
and change Properties | Shortcut | Run to open Maximized.
