can someone please tell me how i uninstall or delete
packard bell companion because its taken over my media
player and my media player icons.

my other problem is i cant find and delete my compressed
zipped files.i have tried to get help with these problems
with my help and support window but i have had no joy
thank you

Finding zip files: Open Windows Explorer, Right-Click your drive icon (C:\), choose "Search" and type *.zip in the file name box.
The star is a wildcard and I'm assuming your compressed files are zip files. If they don't show up, you may have to open "Tools>Folder Options>View
and check "Show hidden files and folders" and try again
If Companion is not in the Add/Remove Programs list, open Windows Explorer, click "Tools>Folder Options>File Types". Scroll down the list to the file type
you wish to have Media Player open, such as MPEG, MP3 etc, click one and click the "Change" button. This will bring up a list of programs to open the selecte
file type. Choose Windows Media Player or browse to an alternate program and then click "OK". You will have to hunt down all the file types currently "owned
by Companion and perform this operation
Good Luck and much joy
