Hi,

I'm using Windows XP Professional and I have set the WZC service to
Automatic. However, EVERY time I start my PC, the service has to be started
manually!!

Can anyone please advise why this should be happening and, better still, how
I can resolve the problem??!!

Thanks and regards

Perhaps your wireless adapter has software that is managing the wireless
connection. If so, open it and change its preferences to allow Windows
to handle the function.

Hi
You will probably find that you need to alter the service to start
automatically when windows starts up. Go to computer management and the
services, change setting.

Already taken care of. It's just a question of WZC service has been set to
Automatic, but it doesn't start auitomatically!!

As I mentioned, I've already set the service to startup automatically.
Problem is...it doesn't!!

I am having the same problem. this only occurred recently, when i installed
new drivers and microsoft updates. Prior to that there was no problem.
jvk - were you able to resolve your problem?
I would greatly appreciate any help.
Thanks.

Hi s,

No, I'm afraid I'm still waiting for somebody to crack it for me!! Both the
responses I had already received, I was already aware of and the 'fixes' were
in place.
Will let you know if I hear anything.

Thanks and regards
