When I hit the PrintScreen to capture the display buffer,
it does not capture the cursor in Windows XP. Does
anybody know any way to get it to leave the cursor in the
image.

download "printkey510ef.zip" from my site it is in the pub\zip dir a neat
little print key utility.
 
I believe you'll need an advanced, third-party program to capture the cursor:
