windows xp

I have a dell xps R450 pc which came with windows 98..I
purchased the XP version last year and have not installed
it. I am afraid of everything not working with the
software..could someone please enlighten me..thanks Sue

Follow this link, Especially #3 Upgrade Advisor:

Before installing, uninstall, not just disable everything Upgrade
Advisor has issues with whether it is compatible with Windows XP or
not.
