cd rom will not run disks. in properties is working properly. get
message"exception in displa runmap.runmap" have looked on ms support,
nothing.
 
Sounds like your system is infected with spyware and maybe has a corrupted
driver. Install Adaware SE, Spybot Search & Destroy, CWShredder, The
Cleaner and as last resort use HijackThis with the create log option and
post it in the appropriate forum for assistance identifying the results.
Also uninstall the CD-ROM from the Device Manager and restart the computer
for the system to reinstall the driver. Right click on My
Computer\Manage\Device Manager\DVD-CD-ROM Devices. Or uninstall it from the
Explorer\CD-ROM Drive\Properties\Hardware\>Select
drive\Properties\Driver\Unistall.

Users have complained about this problem since they upgraded to IE 7. Are
you using IE 7? It can be uninstalled via Add/Remove programs.

The problem can also be related to your video card. Try re-installing it
and download the latest drivers.
