You mean BIT.
You need a VERY expensive Itanium-based computer to run 64-bit Windows XP to
full advantage. I have seen quoted on this forum, around $4,000.

If you have REALLY demanding tasks to perform, the 64-bit can process them a
lot faster.

Not quite. You need an Itanium processor to run the 64-bit
version at *all*.
