windows xp

since i had windows xp put on my machine i have be unable
to reload microsoft office 2000. i keep getting an error
that says error reading file? what does this mean and
will i be abble to load office on to my machine? also
been unable to reinstall NERO-- is XP a conflict with
these older programs? please help
 
Go to the Nero website and see what they are offering you. Some
versions of Nero can be updated free, older ones will cost you a bit.

I would uninstall and then reinstall Office. Go to Add/Remove
Programs, highlight Office, and click on "Remove". You can try the
"repair" option and if it doesn't work, you can actually remove Office
and then reinstall it. Restart the system after you uninstall and
before you reinstall.
