Hi

MS Excel isn't part of Windows. If you haven't installed Excel yourself you will have purchase a copy - either as part of an Office Suite or as a standalone program:

If you think Excel may be installed on your system, type the following from Start>Run:

excel

Hi,

how do I get to windows excel

If you already have excel installed, go to Start > Run and type excel

Look for the file excel.exe, right-click on it and choose send to the
desktop (shortcut)

If you don't have excel you have to buy it.

Good luck

start\all programs\Microsoft Excel. Now this is if you have Office installed. None of the suite of Office utilities comes with XP or with any Windows OS for that matter. They have to be purchased and installed seperately. Welcome to the eXPeriance. {:~)

Greetings --

1) Go to store/shop that sells computer software. (Or order on-line,
www.cdw.com)

2) Purchase either Microsoft Excel or a Microsoft Office suite that
contains Excel.

3) Return home.

4) Insert installation CD in PC's CD drive and follow the on-screen
prompts and instructions to install application and desired additional
features.
