Word just crashed again and cost me two hours work even though I have
autosave on and set to save every five minutes????? What's going on????

I don't know the answer to your question, but let me suggest that you
ask in a Word newsgroup, not here in a Windows XP newsgroup. Your
question is really off-topic here, but most important, the Word
newsgroup is a place where the Word experts hang out and you will be
much more likely to get the help you need.

Also, when you ask them, be sure to tell them what version of Word you
are using.
