windows xp won't shut down or restart

I need help and I mean someone that knows what the hell they are doing. I have had to reboot my windows xp so many times and now my computer will not shut down or restart. I lost my anti virus and down load updates. but the updates are no good because windows can not find them or they own't open after downloading. If I can't get any answers then maybe it's time for everyone that has windows xp and is having problems with their computers like me . It's time to turn them your state attorney generals office for some class action law suits. You can seel me a computer with a preprogram loaded and not give a disk with it, but can't solve my problem with my computer. did you do this to make more money out of us consumers or what.

Where did you buy your garbage wagon computer? The Salvation Army?? If you
change your attitude, maybe, just maybe some nice person in here will help
you . Nut, you will have to adjust that attitude and ask nicely.
You see this newsgroup is made up of some professional people and they are
doing this as a free service WITHOUT PAY I MIGHT ADD!
You Failed to state just what problems you are having, and failed to give
any information at all on the "Salvation Army" or " Dime Store" system that
YOU GOT RIPPED OFF on. But, putting all that aside, if you will give us kind
people SOME RESPECT and a little more information on the problems that YOU
are having. Then you might get some help. Again, RESPECT. This is a
volunteer group.............
