Anyone have any problems clicking on an email url, getting the internet
explorer to open but no url appears in the window at the top. Ideas please?
Thanks

Try:
1. Click Start, click Run
2. Type the following commands in the Run dialog box, and click OK (or hit ENTER) after each command
(noting the space between the 2 and the next letter):
regsvr32 urlmon.dll
regsvr32 mshtml.dll
regsvr32 shdocvw.dll
regsvr32 browseui.dll
regsvr32 msjava.dll (NB Java may not be installed on your computer and you may receive an error)

OK but your were right with respect to an error message after the last line
of code. I did in fact receive an error message. Any idea what I could try
next. I did look at all the url's to fix the problem.

Thanks

If nothing I suggested worked, perhaps try the gurus at the OE Newsgroup stating what you've already
tried and what your OS is etc. The more information the better.

OE6-specific newsgroup:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress
(OE client)
or
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/...inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress&lang=en&cr=US
(Web Client)

1. You click on a link and an IE window doesn't even open:

http://www.oehelp.com/ielnk.aspx.

2. You click on a link and an IE window opens but it doesn't load: Try
re-registering all of the DLLs listed in this KB article...

You Cannot Open New Internet Explorer Window or Nothing Happens After You
Click on a Link
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=281679

3. Installing the latest Cumulative Patch for IE may solve the problem as a
side-affect. Check in at Windows Update.
