I have searched hi-and-lo and cannot find anything on
this subject for Windows XP (home edition).

I have to re-type my password for Outlook and Outlook
Express even though I ask it to save it EVERY SINGLE
TIME. Whenever I visit a website that require me to have
a username and password, I always click on "Save
password" but when I return a day or two later, I have to
retype it all over again.

Is this a glitch in XP? Can anyone help me?

Outlook Express keeps prompting for your password - Repair
http://www.dougknox.com/xp/tips/xp_oe_passwords.htm

This fix also applies to Outlook, other programs that store passwords
in the Protected Storage System Provider sub-branch of the Registry.
It also corrects some issues with Internet Explorer and AutoComplete.
