I have a Sony VIAO laptop and have been running Windows XP
for a while on it. Last night, I attempted a large
download, and put the computer into standby mode. This
morning, I have tried, by every means necessary, to boot up
the computer again, but it just won't work. Unfortunately,
I'm currently on vacation and not at my home, so I cannot
get to the XP install disk. I have another laptop with me,
but it has 2000 on it. Is there anyone who can help? I need
to recover the data and continue work on this computer.
