Help, I can not install my volume control. Any suggestions?

Have you verified that you've installed the the WinXP-specific audio
drivers, as provided by your sound card's manufacturer? Have you
enabled the system tray icon from within the control panel?

with little to go on... is the speaker icon in your system tray?

if so... try this... or turn your speakers <down>

They should be on one of the CDs that came with the computer, and also
available for downloading from the computer manufacturer's (and audio
controller's manufacturer's) web site.

Control panel wont allow me to select the
system tray icon. It states: It has not been installed.
