Hi, everybody!

I have Visual Studio 6.0 with SP5 installed on my pc
that has XP Professional with SP1. The weird thing is that
Visual Basic works in a nice way, but C++ doesn't.

Everytime I try to load a workspace or create a new
one on C++, when it starts to load all classes references about
that workspace, it crashes.

I already tried to change its compatibility mode, to
see if something changes, but it doesn't.

May I have to install something else (or maybe uninstall)?

Thanks a lot,
Sabrina.

contact/visit the Visual Studio website for more
information. not all problems are winXP problems.

It depends on, because I'm not having a development
problem.

I'm not being able to make Visual C++ compiler work into
Windows XP.

Can someone help me on this problem, please? :)

It must be something you are doing wrong or a configuration problem on
your computer. I use the C++ compiler in Visual Studio just fine, as
do many other programmers I know.

Hmmm... I would like to understand what I did wrong. I installed it, than
I installed its service pack, and it doesn't work.

Simple, isn't it? :(
