Windows XP Upgrade and CD Writer

After upgrading from ME to XP, my Pavilion no longer
recognizes that the CD is a Read-Write - it calls it a
ROM drive. It's an internal Mitsumi CR-4804TE. I have
been to the Mitsumi site and did not find any help for XP.

Did you do a clean install of winxp? if so you will need
to re-install your burner software, which you should have
got with your drive.
