Alll of a sudden this happened.

My Windows XP SP2 is not showing its task bar, computer management is not
working, IIS is not working...other applications are not working....What
could have caused this. I just uninstalled our product which we are running
safely since 15 yrs. My Windows XP machine is misbehaving.

Any clues to fix this properly.

Thanks in advance

You uninstalled a program (unnamed, so we can't give any specific help
with it) and your computer stopped working properly? You can't have
been running this mystery product on the same computer for 15 years -
XP has only been available since 2001.

Post back with a better description of the program - its name to start
with - and exactly what you did. Also include the name/version of your
antivirus program.

Hmm...XP hasn't been around for 15 years. Without knowing any more

Probably a typo. Maybe 1.5 years?

I mean we have products that are running since windows 3.1....those are
upgraded to support the latest MS OS versions....

This has nothing to do with *this* computer *now*. Either post back with
full details of your situation and the program and exactly what you
did, or contact a professional computer repair person to come onsite.
Here is a link explaining what to include in a good newsgroup post:
