Help!

I am having trouble starting up my laptop which runs XP.

It starts fine and gets to the screen which says " To
begin, click on your user name"

The problem is my user name is no longer displayed so
there is nothing to click on. The only thing that is
clickable is the the "Turn off Jason's Laptop" prompt.

Any help apreciated!

Thanks

Try to hit Ctrl+Alt+Del (twice) and write your username and password
using standard logon dialog box. If it works - let us know.

Hi Again,

Its Home addition

I've tried that but it asks for username (which I give)
and password (which I never set up) I've never had it
password protected. Interestly I've tried to repair with
my XP CD and it still has the same problem!

Anyone?!!

No, it's Home *EDITION* - learn the damned difference!

Those instructions are for Pro only. You can only access the main admin user
via safe mode.
