Windows XP SP2

can anyone tell me if I can install XP SP2 by disable automatically the
firewall and the windows update, when we launch the sp2.exe, I have 950
wokstation to update
 
The firewall can be disabled,asfor the update,microsoft has two downloads,
1 preventing SP2 update, the other enableing it,if i got the question right,
then use group policy to enact,downloads are at dwnload site,scroll to xp,
search.

If you value any of those 950 workstations you'll ignore any 'advice' given
by Andrew the Eejit.Not that any of his posts make any sense whatsoever.

If you have that many you should be using a server AVP - and disabling it at
the server level should deactivate it on the workstations.

What download site. At the moment it's available as a network installation
only.
