After closing all my windows I go to "Turn Off Computer" button to shutdown
my PC and nothing happens, I get the hour glass and sit in from of my PC
waiting for the Restart, Logoff, Cancel icon buttons to appear on the screen
for about 5 minutes. The only way I can shutdown quickly is the
Ctrl-Alt-Delete.

Here is a link to an excellent shutdown troubleshooter:

Additionally, when this happens it is because some programs or processes
are refusing to shut down gracefully. Very often these programs are
malware, so make sure your computer is 100% spyware and virus-free.

Thank You Malke
I stopped the NVIDA Driver per the suggested web site and that solved the
problem.

Thanks again
