I am having trouble installing windows xp. At the end of coping the last few
files it cannot find the files on the cd. My product id is

The five letters "FCKGW" are the first five characters of most product
keys used with illegitimate copies of Windows XP. I would recommend
going out and purchasing a legal version of Windows XP. That will solve
your file copying issue.

Problems copying files or corrupted files during installation are
most often caused by defective or sub-standard hardware; in order of
likelihood, either RAM, the hard drive, or the motherboard. On very
rare occasions the installation CD is the problem.

However, given that your Product Key is - as Carey says - that of a
well-known stolen Volume License copy, I think your problem is caused by
a badly burnt CD. Try again with a legitimately purchased license.

Could the stolen volume license copy be payback for FCKBW = F**K G. W. Bush?
maybe if Bill Gates had used "XPSUX" it would not have been as likely to
get stolen???
