hi i have a windows 2000 computer when you do a clean insall do you need to
instert the windows 2000 disk i'm asking this Question because i don't have a
windows 2000 disk

What do you mean? You want to do a clean install of XP? Using what type of
CD? If you're not asking about XP, but about Windows 2000, then ask in a
newsgroup for it.

If an XP issue provide more information on what you are trying to do.

Certainly. You can't perform an installation without the CD.
