I was trying to repair my OEM copy of XP and upon reboot,
the system boots up to Safe Mode. A message appears
saying "Windows XP Setup cannot run under Safemode. Setup
will restart now. Of course, it then just reboots to the
same thing. I cannot get back either to Safe Mode or
normal bootup because of this. I then booted from the
floppy and went through the setup procedure again and
selected repair. It started copying files and then booted
into Safe Mode.
How can I get out of this vicious circle?
