While I was searching the Net, I clicked on a news
article link and instantly my Sony Vaio Desktop PCV-
RX780G (has Windows XP Home Edition, 2.2 GHz Pentium 4,
512 MB RAM) restarted only to have an opening screen
flipped upside down...the one that prompts you to click
your user name and enter password. However, after I tried
to press the first letter of my PW, it instantly
restarted my computer. Ever since, every time I push the
power button it goes into hibernation mode instead of
turning off. Could this be a virus? Where can I find the
solution to this...

Enter F8 during the boot and select safemode.
As safemode is initializing, you'll get a message about
choosing system restore. Pick this and restore to a time
prior to this problem...
