Windows XP running slow

My system is running very slow and System 32 folder opens
on start up. Is there any relation between these two
things? And what can I do to remedy the situation?

But it is east to look in the registry with regedt32 under
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

Look for Name: SB Audigy 2 Startup Menu
Type: REG_SZ
Data: /L:END

Highlight and delete this value.....

Logout and log back in and youe syste32 folder will not display...
This is a Creative Labs problem.

Type: REG_SZ
Data: /L:ENG

Highlight and delete this value.....

Logout and log back in and your system32 folder will not display...
This is a Creative Labs problem.

I don't think this will fix your performance, but one problem at a
time!!
