Hello every body,
My Windows xp pro restarts again and again on clicking an account on the
welcome page, reboots and checks the disc. Sometimes once, somtimes more. It
could not be hardware as the Linux works fine on the same machine. Can
anybody tell me please what I can do about it?

Try going to: Control Panel/System/Advanced Tab/Startup and Recovery/Settings
Under the System failure heading uncheck the "Automatically restart" box if
it is checked.

Goodluck, Jimmy.

What has changed since the last time it worked well? What is the malware
status of the computer?

I think it begun when I got the irritant WGA and removed it with a WGA
remover tool the same day.

Maybe you shouldn't have done that? WGA is no problem if the installation
is legit. Besides if it borked your system why in a later post are you
recommending to someone else to use it? That's not very reasonable.
