When I shutdown the my computer it restarts instead of
turining off, the problem just started a few weeks ago.
There is no other irratic behavior that would suggest a
virus. When I use the shut down button in the start menu
it shuts down the comuper normally but then instead of
powering down like it use to, the computer restarts. Does
this sound like a windows problem or a motherboard Bios
problem? By the way I'm running Windows XP home, 3.06 P4
with a Gigabyte motherboard.

I have the same problem, for a while now, it restarts
sometimes, instead of shutting down. I also have XP Home
lastest upgrades.
